Chapter History
An organizational charter meeting was held 20 January 1984.The first annual meeting of the Florida Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society was held 30 November 1984 at the Fine Arts Center in Leesburg, Florida.
Charter members were Jane N. Bretschneider, Ethel H. Cook, Lowell V. Dunahay, Dorothy Dunahay, Harold Freshwater, Jane Freshwater, Elizabeth Z. Goelz, Mable Ketring, J.P. McCall, Elizabeth McCall, Ralph Morton, Gertrude Norcross, Penelope G. Ough, Carlton W. Ray, Beverly J. Ray, Helen S. Richeson, G. Dailey Smith, and Bernice H. Smith.
